Cancellation & Charges

Bamboo Kite Camps reserves the right to apply the following charges to any cancellations:

No show: 100%
One to fifteen (1-15) days before starting day: 50%
Sixteen to thirty (16-30) days before starting day: 25%
Thirty one (31) days or more before starting day: 0

Cancellation for behavioural reasons

Bamboo Kite Camps has the right to stop/cancel a camp (termination of the training part, not the entire camp) at any time with no refund, without notice if the customer persistently disturbs despite a warning by Bamboo Kite Camps, or if they violate the contract to such an extent, that the immediate cancellation of the contract is justified.

Data Protection / Privacy

This privacy policy sets out how Bamboo Kite Camps uses and protects any information provided through the use of the web site.

"Bamboo Kite Camps" may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. Please make you frequently check this page to ensure that you are satisfied with any changes. This policy is effective as of January 1st, 2019.

Use of Audiovisual material

The participants agree to the possibility of having their pictures taken or being filmed during various activities and sports activities during the camp, and that this footage can be used by Bamboo Kite Camps in their marketing activities. "Bamboo Kite Camps" also states that journalists might take part in the trip to document these activities. In case you do not agree to these terms, you must submit a written objection letter to us.

Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Payment

25% of the total costs of the reservation are to be paid upon confirmation of the booking and the outstanding balance is due 16 days prior to departure.

A camp will be considered booked, only upon reception of deposit.

In case the final payment is not made on time, the camp will be considered cancelled. Bamboo Kite Camps has the right to keep the deposit according to our cancellation rules (see paragraph 1)

Health & Safety

It is understood that Bamboo Kite Camps and its affiliates are no way responsible for the health or safety of any traveller, and it is in the customer' sole responsibility to manage their affairs and take every precaution to ensure their safety and health while travelling. We strongly recommend that all clients take out an adequate travel/health insurance before travelling.

It is understood that a sport activity vacation can be dangerous, so we recommend that each client be responsible and considerate of others when participating in any of our sports activities.

All clients are required to sign a Disclaimer Form before participating in any kitesurf lessons or equipment rental.

Complaints

If for any reason you are unhappy with your accommodation or not satisfied with the service provided, you must speak directly with management of the pousada where you are staying, and also contact us. Once we, and the supplier concerned, are aware of the problem everything reasonably possible will be done to resolve it as quickly as possible. If you remain dissatisfied, you must write to us giving full details of your complaint within 30 days of your return. It is unreasonable to take no action whilst on holiday and then write a letter of complaint upon return. We cannot accept liability in relation to any complaint which is not brought to our attention entirely in accordance with this clause.

Compensation / Refund policy

Compensation or refund payments will not be made for changes that arise as a result of force majeure, that neither us nor the supplier in question, could foresee and/or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care.

Such circumstances can include (but are not limited to): war or threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, civil strike, strikes and other industrial disruption, technical problems with transport including changes imposed due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type for reasons beyond our control or that of our suppliers; closed or congested airports or ports, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, quarantine, epidemics, health risks, actual or threatened severe weather conditions, Government action, change to Foreign Office Advice to advise against travel to your destination, or other events beyond our control.

Services which are not consumed

In case of no use of individual services that were offered to the customer properly, for reasons that are attributable to him (eg. because of an early return or for other compelling reasons), the customer is not entitled to a pro rated refund of the camp price.
